The Council’s Misuse of Substances work sector held a Ministerial meeting in Cardiff this morning hosted by Rebecca Evans AM, Minister for Social Services and Public Health. The Irish Government leads this work sector for the Council and the meeting was chaired by Catherine Byrne TD, Minister of State for Health Promotion and the National Drugs Strategy.

The meeting was attended by delegates from across the Council’s members attended the event and considered a report on 'Drugs Strategies and Policy Developments'. Discussions focused on key developments in the drugs strategies of Member Administrations in the past three years as well as changing trends. The paper is available on our website here.
