The British-Irish Council (BIC) held its 39th Summit meeting today hosted by the Government of Jersey. Heads of delegation were welcomed by the Chief Minister of the Government of Jersey, Deputy Kristina Moore.

The Council took the opportunity to reflect on the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement and on the on the latest political developments across their administrations. The Council also held a thematic discussion on efforts underway across BIC Member Administrations to deliver on energy efficiency, decarbonisation and the provision of suitable and affordable housing.
