The Work of the British-Irish Council
The British-Irish Council provides valuable opportunities through its work sectors for Member
Administrations to explore areas for co-operation, exchange information, share best practice
and discuss matters of mutual interest.
The Council currently has eleven work sector areas of focus, each of which is led by one or
