An Taoiseach Enda Kenny hosted the twenty-fourth Summit meeting  of the British-Irish Council in Dublin Castle today. The meeting was attended by Leaders and Ministers from the eight BIC Member Administrations: the UK Government; the devolved administrations of the Scottish and Welsh Governments and Northern Ireland Executive; the Governments of the Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey and the host, the Irish Government.

The Council discussed the continuing improving economic situation in Member Administrations, recognising the interdependence and links between their economies.

BIC Ministers adopt “Spend to Save” Report at Edinburgh Meeting

The British-Irish Council (BIC) Social Inclusion work sector held its sixth Ministerial meeting hosted by Shona Robison MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sport, at St. Andrew’s House, Edinburgh today.

The British-Irish Council established under the 1998 Multi-Party Agreement held its twenty-third Summit meeting today, hosted by the Isle of Man Government’s Chief Minister Hon Allan Bell, in the Villa Marina, Douglas.

The meeting was attended by Leaders and Ministers from the eight BIC Member Administrations: the UK and Irish Governments; the devolved administrations of the Scottish and Welsh Governments and Northern Ireland Executive; the Governments of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
