The British-Irish Council held a marine litter symposium today hosted by the Scottish Government. The environment Ministers from across the Member Administrations of the British-Irish Council were welcomed to the Strathclyde University Technology and Innovation Centre by Roseanna Cunningham MSP Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform.

The British-Irish Council (BIC) held its 31st Summit meeting today hosted by the Government of the Isle of Man. The heads of delegation were welcomed to the Island on behalf of the Government of the Isle of Man by the Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK. In addition to welcoming first time attendees to the Council, the Chief Minister paid tribute to Carwyn Jones AM, who today attended his eighteenth and final British-Irish Council Summit as First Minister of Wales. Chief Minister Howard Quayle will host the 31st British-Irish Council Summit meeting on the Isle of Man next week. It will be the fourth time the BIC Summit has been held on the Island. The meeting will be attended by leaders and Ministers from the Council’s Member Administrations.  

One of the main topics of discussion at the summit will be digital inclusion and approaches being taken by the Member Administrations
