The First Minster of Wales, Rt Hon Carwyn Jones AM hosted and chaired the British-Irish Council’s 3rd Indigenous Minority and Lesser Used Languages (IML) ministerial in Cardiff on 24th October 2014.

The British-Irish Council’s 13th Environment ministerial meeting was held on 15th October in Douglas, Isle of Man. The meeting was hosted by Hon Richard Ronan MHK, Minister for Environment, Food & Agriculture, Isle of Man Government; and chaired by Dan Rogerson MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Water, Forestry, Rural Affairs and Resource Management, UK Government.

The British-Irish Council established under the 1998 Multi-Party Agreement held its twenty-second Summit meeting today, hosted by the Government of Guernsey Chief Minister Deputy Jonathan Le Tocq, in the St Pierre Park Hotel, St Peter Port.

The meeting was attended by Leaders and Ministers from the eight BIC member administrations: the UK and Irish Governments; the devolved administrations of the Scottish and Welsh Governments and Northern Ireland Executive; the Governments of the Isle of Man, Jersey and the host, Guernsey.
