The British-Irish Council (BIC) held its 39th Summit meeting today hosted by the Government of Jersey. Heads of delegation were welcomed by the Chief Minister of the Government of Jersey, Deputy Kristina Moore.
The Government of Jersey will host the 39th British-Irish Council (BIC) Summit next week.
The meeting will be attended by ministers and officials from the BIC Member Administrations. The theme of the Summit relates to housing and energy policy and is titled ‘Building for the Future: Green and Affordable’.
This will be the fifth time the Government of Jersey has hosted a British-Irish Council Summit.
The UK Government will host the 38th British-Irish Council (BIC) Summit next week.
The meeting will be attended by leaders and ministers from the BIC Member Administrations, who will discuss and consider approaches to supporting sustainable growth and regeneration across these islands.
It will be the fifth time a Summit of the British-Irish Council has been hosted by the UK Government.
